        "content": "<p>The Indonesian government is cutting the permit process for foreign\nworkers (TKA) accompanying capital investment to support industrial\nsectors that still require foreign labour.<\/p>\n<p>This step was marked by the signing of two Joint Decrees (SKB)\nbetween the Minister of Manpower Yassierli, the Minister of Immigration\nand Correctional Services Agus Andrianto, and the Minister of Investment\nand Downstreaming Rosan P. Roeslani on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, in\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The first Joint Decree regulates the integration of the Online Single\nSubmission (OSS) system, the Labour Service Information and Application\nSystem (SIAPkerja), and the All Indonesia Application. The second Joint\nDecree establishes an Integration Technical Team to support the\nimplementation of this policy.<\/p>\n<p>With this integration, the foreign worker permit process is expected\nto be completed within approximately five days. If the deadline is\nexceeded, permits will be issued automatically according to the\napplicable mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe plan is for implementation to begin at the end of this month;\nGod willing, it will start following the agreement between the three of\nus,\u201d said Rosan P. Roeslani.<\/p>\n<p>Rosan added that the reduction in permit processing time aims to\nincrease domestic investment and industry, while providing a positive\nimpact on foreign direct investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause we see that in several industrial sectors, the need for\nforeign workers is still necessary. Our hope is that this can facilitate\nthe transfer of knowledge and technology to our human resources,\u201d\nexplained Rosan, who is also the CEO of Danantara.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that services will improve in\nthe future with this Joint Decree, while maintaining monitoring of the\nforeign worker permit process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod willing, we are confident that in its implementation, it will\nprovide more effective and efficient services and results,\u201d said\nYassierli.<\/p>",
