The Basic Competency Selection (SKD) for official schools is\nscheduled to commence on 22 September 2026. The government has\nestablished the passing grades that must be achieved for each group of\ntest questions.<\/p>\n
The passing grade for the National Insight Test (TWK) is set at 65,\nwhile the General Intelligence Test (TIU) requires a score of 80.\nMeanwhile, a minimum score of 156 must be achieved by participants for\nthe Personal Characteristics Test (TKP) group.<\/p>\n
The maximum cumulative score for the SKD is 550, broken down as\nfollows: 150 for TWK, 175 for TIU, and 225 for TKP. This determination\nis stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Administrative and\nBureaucratic Reform Number 406 of 2026 regarding the Passing Grades for\nthe Basic Competency Selection for the Admission of Students to Official\nSchools for the 2026 Fiscal Year.<\/p>\n
However, these passing grades are waived for participants from\ncertain regions who receive affirmative action. This affirmative policy\nwas previously proposed by the ministries or agencies organising the\nofficial schools.<\/p>\n
For the TIU and TWK materials, a correct answer is worth 5 points,\nwhile participants will receive 0 points for incorrect or unanswered\nquestions. For the TKP, the lowest weight for an answer is 1 and the\nhighest is 5, with 0 points awarded for no response.<\/p>\n
Prospective students must complete 110 questions within 100 minutes.\nThe TWK consists of 30 questions, the TIU contains 35 questions, and the\nTKP comprises 45 questions. The registration phase concluded at the end\nof August 2026.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Rini\nWidyantini, stated that the SKD will continue to utilise the Computer\nAssisted Test (CAT) system managed by the National Civil Service Agency\n(BKN).<\/p>\n
She also urged all participants to prepare themselves and avoid\nindividuals promising automatic passing in exchange for money. \u201cThere\nwill be no loopholes for those attempting to cheat,\u201d Rini asserted in\nher statement on Wednesday (16\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
Rini advised participants to undergo the selection stages honestly\nand according to their own abilities. The grouping of questions is\ndesigned to assess the knowledge, tendencies, and mastery of the\nparticipants.<\/p>\n
Participants\u2019 answers will reflect their knowledge and tendencies\nregarding nationalistic values, analysis and syllogism, adaptability,\nand knowledge of anti-radicalism.<\/p>\n
\u201cBe professional, ethical participants who are ready to provide the\nbest service to the community,\u201d said Rini.<\/p>\n
For information, the government has prepared 4,770 vacancies for\ncivil servant candidates (CPNS) through the official school pathway for\n2026. This year, nine agencies have opened formations for the official\nschools under their supervision.<\/p>\n
Following the SKD, each agency will officially announce the results\nbetween September and October 2026. Subsequent selection stages will be\nregulated by each respective organising agency.
