        "content": "<p>Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has established eight\nprogrammes that will become the focus of fiscal policy in the 2027 State\nBudget. The fiscal policy is focused on supporting eight clusters of the\nNational Priority Work Programme and one supporting group consisting of\n60 work programmes. The eight programmes cover food sovereignty; energy\nand water independence; education; health; downstreaming and\nindustrialisation; infrastructure, housing, and disaster resilience;\nstrengthening the people\u2019s economy and village development; and poverty\nreduction. The supporting group includes strengthening defence and\nsecurity, law enforcement, governance, accelerating digitalisation, and\neconomic diplomacy. To support this agenda, the government is optimising\nstate revenue through tax reform and digitalisation, expanding the\nrevenue base, and strengthening the governance of non-tax state revenue.\nOn the spending side, the government continues to improve the quality of\nexpenditure to be more efficient, productive, targeted, and have a real\nimpact on society, including through strengthening social protection\nbased on the National Single Socio-Economic Data system. The government\nwill also manage financing prudently and innovatively to maintain fiscal\nresilience.<\/p>",
