        "content": "<p>Collaboration between the government, industry and associations is\nthe key to ensuring Indonesia is not merely a consumer of technology,\nbut an active player in the global digital ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The Economy Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko Bidang\nPerekonomian) emphasises that digital transformation is a fundamental\nfoundation for achieving Indonesia\u2019s national economic growth target of\n8 per cent by 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy for Trade and Digital Economy Coordination at the Economy\nCoordinating Ministry Ali Murtopo Simbolon, in a statement from Jakarta\non Friday, said this accords with Presidential Regulation No.\u00a04 of 2026\non the Economic Growth Acceleration Task Force.<\/p>\n<p>He said the regulation has positioned digital infrastructure\nincluding data centres, artificial intelligence (AI), and cyber security\nas a fundamental pillar to achieve the target.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Robust digital infrastructure, namely data centres, AI, and cyber\nsecurity, are the foundations that will undergird Indonesia\u2019s\nsustainable economic growth,\u2019 Ali said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Director of Artificial Intelligence and New Technology\nEcosystem at the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Kominfo) Aju\nWidia Sari said that strengthening digital connectivity through\naccelerating data centre construction, developing the AI ecosystem, and\nenhancing cyber resilience is a strategic pillar for national economic\ngrowth.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Collaboration between government, industry and associations is the\nkey to ensuring Indonesia is not only a consumer of technology but also\nan active participant in the global digital ecosystem,\u2019 Aju said.<\/p>\n<p>The enhanced collaboration is being pursued through a National Forum\ntitled \u2018Indonesia Digital Leap: Accelerating Data Centre, AI &amp; Cyber\nSecurity Ecosystem for National Economic Growth\u2019 held earlier this\nweek.<\/p>\n<p>This exclusive forum brought together more than 200 hand-picked\nparticipants from industry leaders, regulators, and policymakers to\ndiscuss accelerating the digital infrastructure ecosystem as the\nfoundation to achieving the national growth target.<\/p>\n<p>The event also aimed to disseminate national policy, regulatory\nroadmaps and investment priorities in data centre infrastructure, AI\nadoption, and cyber security to a broader industry ecosystem, and to\ngenerate concrete industry insights and policy recommendations\nsupporting the cross-sector coordination mandate of the Economy\nCoordinating Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The National Forum also marked the soft launch of the DTI Series 2026\n(Digital Transformation Indonesia Conference &amp; Expo) and the Cyber\nResilience &amp; Defence Conference &amp; Expo (CRD-CX) 2026, to be held\non 5-6 August 2026 at the Jakarta International Convention Center\n(JICC), Senayan.<\/p>\n<p>DTI Series 2026 is Indonesia\u2019s largest B2B business platform, set to\nfeature more than 450 technology solutions from 199 companies, over 133\nconference sessions with at least 260 speakers, and around 13,000\nattendees from various industries.<\/p>",
