        "content": "<p>The government plans to implement a work-from-home (WFH) policy for\ncivil servants (ASN) and the private sector after Eid. This policy is\nprepared as an efficiency measure amid high global oil prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the high oil prices, efficiency in working hours is needed.\nFlexibility for work from home will be opened, one day in five working\ndays,\u201d said Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto,\nafter attending a limited meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the\nState Palace on Thursday, 19 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this policy will not only apply to ASN but is also\nexpected to involve the private sector and regional governments.\nAirlangga assessed that implementing WFH has the potential to provide\nsignificant savings in fuel consumption, particularly from the\ntransportation sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe savings are quite significant, one-fifth of what we usually\nspend,\u201d explained Airlangga.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the government is still refining the concept and\ntechnical implementation of the policy.
