        "content": "<p>The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has\nlaunched the \u2018Bursa Wirausaha Unggulan\u2019 as a strategic government step\nto realise the target of 10 million new entrepreneurs by 2029. Minister\nof UMKM Maman Abdurrahman stressed that the programme is part of the\ngovernment\u2019s efforts to increase the national entrepreneurship ratio,\ncreate new entrepreneurs, and expand labour absorption. \u2018This programme\nis in line with the President\u2019s direction to create 10 million new\nentrepreneurs by 2029. The more entrepreneurs that are born and develop,\nthe greater the labour absorption will be,\u2019 Maman said at the Ministry\nof UMKM office in Jakarta on Wednesday (10\/6). The programme, part of\nthe 2026 National Entrepreneurship and UMKM Day series, is designed to\nmake it easier for young people, aspiring entrepreneurs, MSME actors,\nand business owners to access various integrated business development\nservices, including capacity building, legality, financing, and market\nexpansion. Maman said the 2026 National Entrepreneurship and UMKM Day\ncommemoration was a momentum to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit\nwhile expanding opportunities for the public to build competitive\nbusinesses. He emphasised that the Bursa Wirausaha Unggulan is designed\nto provide comprehensive entrepreneurship coaching and empowerment from\nupstream to downstream, integrating services into one ecosystem. \u2018The\naim is to produce resilient entrepreneurs. We assist them from the\ninitial process, equipping them with competence, business mentality, and\ngood business planning, until finally we open access to financing and\nmarketing,\u2019 Maman stated. Through the programme, participants receive\nmentoring including training, business capacity strengthening, legality\nand certification facilitation, financial management training, and\naccess to financing and marketing. Facilitated financing access includes\nformal financing through banks and People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR), as\nwell as non-formal financing through financial technology companies and\nother partners. The Bursa Wirausaha Unggulan activity was attended by\naround 1,500 students from various universities, during which an\nEntrepreneurship Declaration was also made as a joint commitment to\nstrengthen the national entrepreneurship ecosystem. Coordinating\nMinister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar stated the\ngovernment will remain committed to encouraging the birth of new\nentrepreneurs while helping MSMEs grow and scale up. \u2018MSMEs must\ncontinue to grow and move up. Economic growth must be contributed by\nMSMEs and enjoyed by MSMEs. This is what is called a just economy,\u2019\nMuhaimin said, viewing the programme as an important instrument for\nbuilding an inclusive business ecosystem. Deputy Minister of Higher\nEducation, Science, and Technology Fauzan stressed the importance of\nuniversities\u2019 role in producing an innovative new generation of\nentrepreneurs.<\/p>",
