        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Tourism is collaborating with the\nNational Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) to issue tourism\nprofession guidelines that encompass 483 national occupational schemes\nin 34 tourism fields.<\/p>\n<p>At the \u201cReal Action for Revitalisation of Vocational Education and\nTraining\u201d event in Bandung, West Java, on Wednesday (22\/4), Tourism\nMinister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana stated that the tourism profession\nguidelines will soon be available for download on the ministry\u2019s\nofficial website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis document serves as a strategic guide for tourism professions in\nIndonesia in building clear, structured, and nationally recognised\ncompetency standards,\u201d she said, as quoted in the ministry\u2019s press\nrelease confirmed on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the launch of national occupational schemes is part\nof efforts to accelerate the improvement of human resource quality\nthrough vocational education.<\/p>\n<p>She conveyed that by August 2025, the tourism sector had absorbed\naround 25.91 million workers.<\/p>\n<p>Enhancing worker competencies is one of the keys to developing\nsustainable tourism businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the ministry is conducting various competency-based\ntraining and certification programmes, including training for tour\nguides and capacity building for tourism service management.<\/p>\n<p>Tourism training and certification programmes are implemented in\naccordance with Indonesia\u2019s National Work Competency Standards\n(SKKNI).<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of work competency standards, according to\nWidiyanti, will bring forth professionals who can support the\ndevelopment of high-quality and sustainable tourism businesses.<\/p>",
