        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The government has officially carried out a mass\nsigning of People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR) for 1,000 micro, small, and\nmedium enterprise (MSME) actors in the creative economy as part of the\nCreative Economy MSME and Outstanding Entrepreneurship Exchange\nactivities in Bali Province.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Creative Economy\/Head of the Creative Economy Agency,\nTeuku Riefky Harsya, stated that the distribution of this KUR is the\nresult of implementing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the\nMinistry of Creative Economy and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs,\ndisbursed to the largest creative economy subsectors of culinary,\nfashion, and crafts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, there are around 1,000 KUR MSME and creative economy\nrecipients, with the largest subsectors being culinary, fashion, and\ncrafts. From cultural creativity, there are subsectors of culinary,\ncrafts, fashion, visual arts, performing arts, or around 13 out of 21\ncreative economy subsectors that signed the credit agreements today,\u201d\nsaid Riefky in an official statement received in Jakarta on\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of recipients is 239 creative economy actors who\ngained access to KUR, divided into three categories: super micro KUR\nwith a ceiling below Rp10 million, micro KUR from Rp10 million to Rp100\nmillion, and small KUR above Rp100 million, with the overall total\namounting to Rp37.99 billion.<\/p>\n<p>This mass signing of KUR for 1,000 Creative Economy MSMEs is also\naimed at accelerating the increase in the entrepreneurship ratio, with\nthe hope of creating quality job opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the creative economy and MSMEs play a significant role\nin creating jobs, strengthening the people\u2019s economy, and serving as a\nnew engine for national economic growth, which is highly strategic.<\/p>\n<p>The Creative Economy Minister explained that Bali Province is one of\nthe 15 priority creative economy regions based on the National\nMedium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), thus requiring collaboration with\nthe hexahelix to address various challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s activity is part of supporting MSMEs to Go National and even\none day Go Global. With the hope that Bali\u2019s intellectual property can\ngo national and eventually become world-renowned,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>This programme represents a concrete step in optimising the\nutilisation of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as collateral,\nexpanding financing access for the creative economy sector, and\naccelerating the increase in the national entrepreneurship ratio.<\/p>\n<p>The development of KUR financing from 1 January to 11 May 2026 has\nreached Rp102.8 trillion and covered 1.6 million MSME debtors. With\nproduction economy sector financing reaching 63.2 percent towards 65\npercent, among which Rp8.9 trillion or 8.9 percent has been channelled\nto the creative economy sector.<\/p>\n<p>The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko\nPM), Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, said that this activity also introduces\ntechnology- and commodity-based business incubators to strengthen a\nsustainable and adaptive business ecosystem in response to industry\ndevelopments and to encourage Bali\u2019s creative economy MSMEs to rise and\nadvance.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Maman Abdurahman,\non this occasion launched the Sapa UMKM application as a one-stop\nservice system for micro, small, and medium enterprises across\nIndonesia.<\/p>",
