Head of the Government Communication Body (Bakom) RI\nMuhammad Qodari stated that the young patriots were recruited from 10\nuniversities as part of efforts to accelerate the development of\ntransmigration areas. \u201cThe government, through the Ministry of\nTransmigration, has recruited and dispatched 1,476 young patriots from\nthe Patriot Expedition Team to 53 transmigration areas to conduct\nresearch, studies, and mentoring based on science and technology,\u201d\nQodari said. He explained that the programme is a continuation of the\n2025 Patriot Expedition Team, which previously deployed 2,000 excellent\nhuman resources to transmigration areas. In 2026, the government is\nagain assigning 1,476 excellent human resources to 53 transmigration\nareas, ranging from Salor in South Papua, Selaut in Aceh, Lunang Silaut\nand Muara Takung Kamang Baru in West Sumatra, Batu Betumpang in the\nBangka Belitung Islands, to Barelang in the Riau Islands. \u201cThis\npartnership is a continuation of the 2025 Patriot Expedition Team.
