\u201cIn general, the toll fare discount will be implemented for four\ndays, from March 15\u201316, 2026 (homebound flow) and March 26\u201327, 2026\n(return flow),\u201d Hanggodo said in a statement issued on Monday.<\/p>\n

He said the discount will generally amount to around 30 percent for\nall vehicle categories. The reduction will apply to long-distance travel\n(barrier gate to barrier gate) using electronic payment methods. The\ndiscount will not apply if the electronic toll balance is insufficient\nor if the system fails to detect the vehicle\u2019s origin or\nclassification.<\/p>\n

The four-day discount period \u2014 March 15\u201316 (homebound) and March\n26\u201327 (return) \u2014 excludes several toll roads with different schedules:\nTangerang\u2013Merak Toll Road (March 12\u201313 and March 31\u2013April 1, 2026),\nKayuagung\u2013Palembang Toll Road (additional discounts on March 14, 28 and\n29, 2026), and Cimanggis\u2013Cibitung Toll Road (March 21\u201322, 2026).<\/p>\n

In addition, the Becakayu Toll Road has implemented a dynamic pricing\ndiscount of 10\u201320 percent through March 31, 2026, while the\nCibitung\u2013Cilincing Toll Road has offered discounts ranging from 12\u201344\npercent for Category II\u2013V vehicles through April 30, 2026.<\/p>\n

Hanggodo said the policy aims to prevent excessive congestion on peak\ntravel days.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe toll discount is intended to avoid excessive buildup on the main\nholiday dates. With this incentive, we expect travelers to depart and\nreturn earlier than the projected peak periods. We also hope more\nfour-wheeled vehicles will use toll roads, reducing the burden on\nnational roads,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

A total of 29 toll road sections will apply fare discounts during the\n1447 Hijri \/ 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday period, comprising four sections\nin the Greater Jakarta corridor, 10 along the Trans-Java corridor, four\nnon\u2013Trans-Java sections, and 11 along the Trans-Sumatra corridor.<\/p>\n
