        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf stated\nthat the government is continuously accelerating the construction\nprocess of dozens of permanent buildings in various districts and cities\nacross Indonesia for the implementation of People\u2019s Schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are already 93 People\u2019s School buildings under construction.\nAround 69% will be completed in July for us to use as the first learning\nprocess, while 24% will, God willing, be functional,\u201d said Minister\nSaifullah Yusuf at the event \u201cTowards One Year of the People\u2019s School\nProgramme Journey: Strategic Achievements and Synergy for\nSustainability\u201d in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of permanent People\u2019s School buildings and their\nfacilities is being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, 166 People\u2019s School sites are still using temporary\nbuildings owned by the central government or regional governments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs many as 166 People\u2019s School sites are still using temporary\nbuildings owned by the government, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the\nMinistry of Manpower, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education,\nas well as regional governments,\u201d said Saifullah Yusuf.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, after the construction of permanent People\u2019s School\nbuildings is completed, the government will receive 32,000 new students\nin People\u2019s Schools throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat means this year (the target is) there will already be more than\n45,000 People\u2019s School students,\u201d said Saifullah Yusuf.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are 15,820 children from poor families recorded as\nstudents at 166 People\u2019s School sites in 34 provinces.<\/p>\n<p>In one year of the People\u2019s School journey, according to him, there\nhave been many achievements by the students, both at the national,\nprovincial, and district\/city levels.<\/p>\n<p>This priority programme of President Prabowo Subianto aims to break\nthe cycle of poverty in Indonesian society through education.<\/p>",
