        "content": "<p>The management of PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has responded to\nthe issue regarding the share ownership of the Badan Pengelola Investasi\nDaya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) in the ride-hailing application\ncompany. According to management, Danantara has purchased a number of\nthe company\u2019s shares amounting to less than 1 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe company welcomes this investment, just as it does investments\nfrom all other stakeholders, as a reflection of ongoing confidence in\nthe company\u2019s business fundamentals, performance, and long-term\nprospects,\u201d said GoTo\u2019s Corporate Secretary R. A. Koesoemohadiani in a\ndisclosure of information, quoted on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Koesoemohadiani stated that the company always complies with\nreporting obligations regarding share ownership. She explained that\nsince March 2026, the company has submitted Share Ownership Reports to\nthe Indonesia Stock Exchange, which include information on shareholders\nholding between 1 percent and 5 percent of the company\u2019s shares.<\/p>\n<p>GoTo also responded to Presidential Regulation Number 27 of 2026 on\nthe Protection of Online Transport Workers. According to\nKoesoemohadiani, the company is still awaiting a copy and further\ninformation on the regulation. \u201cAs an Indonesian company, the company\nwill always support various efforts to continue providing sustainable\nbenefits to all of the company\u2019s driver partners,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, also CEO of\nDanantara, Rosan Roeslani, stated that Danantara\u2019s entry as an investor\nis part of the government\u2019s strategy to improve the welfare of ojol\npartners. He noted that the investment process is being carried out\ngradually and has been underway since early 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDanantara has already started entering and we have already discussed\nit; for us, the important thing is the welfare of ojol, how we improve\nojol welfare, with BPJS Health, BPJS Employment,\u201d said Rosan at the\nPresidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, quoted\nfrom Antara.
