Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) fully backs the
government’s directives on the sharing of commissions between driver
partners and the company or app operators. This follows Presidential
Regulation Number 27 of 2026, which was signed and announced by
President Prabowo Subianto on International Workers’ Day/May Day 2026,
Friday 1 May.

‘This policy sets a profit-sharing scheme of 92 percent for driver
partners from every revenue earned by the two-wheeled ride service
(GoRide). Under the regulation, the company will receive a commission
cut of 8 percent compared with the previous 20 percent,’ said GoTo Chief
Executive Hans Patuwo in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

As a form of support for the president’s directives on the
ride-hailing profit-sharing scheme, Gojek and GoTo have prepared four
concrete steps.

The first step is to adjust the profit-sharing scheme for the
two-wheeled service in line with the directives of President Prabowo
Subianto.

It was also confirmed there will be no price changes for regular
GoRide users, so customer orders will remain stable and total earnings
for driver partners will be preserved.

Furthermore, the company will remove the ‘GoRide Hemat’ subscription
programme for driver partners.

This removal is to create a sustainable ecosystem for all
parties.

Going forward, GoRide Hemat will also follow the 8 percent
profit-sharing system like GoRide regular. Therefore there will be a
moderate adjustment to the prices of GoRide Hemat, while at the same
time Gojek ensures these adjustments are measured and remain affordable
for the public,

Hans said.

He added that the company also supports Asta Cita by continuing to
ensure that all driver welfare programmes that have been running remain
a priority, such as the Hari Raya Bonus Programme (BHR), BPJS
Ketenagakerjaan, BPJS Kesehatan, scholarships for drivers and their
children, free Umrah, the Gojek Partner Job Exchange, and free health
checks in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, which will
continue.

The final step, Gojek and GoTo will strengthen the ecosystem and
other business lines sustainably.

‘Through the strength of the ecosystem and sustainable innovation, we
are optimistic we can implement the adjustments well, while maintaining
long-term stability for Gojek and GoTo,’ Hans said.

He added: ‘In line with further directives to be received, the
company will continue to communicate developments and the necessary
implementation steps to all relevant stakeholders as part of the
company’s corporate responsibility.’
",
