        "content": "<p>The Gorontalo Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office\n(DPMPTSP) has resolved licensing issues for PT Agro Artha Surya (PT AAS)\nthat had been ongoing since 2018. The resolution was achieved through a\ndialogue initiated by the government and the business actor. The issue\nstemmed from a recommendation by the Palm Oil Special Committee (Pansus\nSawit) regarding several unfulfilled licensing obligations, including an\nindustrial permit that PT AAS had not yet obtained. Sri Wahyuni, Head of\nthe Gorontalo DPMPTSP, stated that her office pushed for the matter to\nbe discussed not only at the regional government level but also to\ninvolve the relevant central government authorities, namely the\nInvestment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the Ministry of Industry, to\nachieve a comprehensive understanding and resolution. A hybrid dialogue\nwas subsequently held, led by the Director of Region V at the Deputy for\nInvestment Implementation Control, and attended by the Ministry of\nIndustry, the Gorontalo Province Industry and Trade Office, and relevant\ndirectorates within BKPM. Sri Wahyuni explained that based on the BKPM\nclarification referring to IUP No.\u00a0130 of 2013, PT Agro Artha Surya\nalready possesses an integrated oil palm plantation business permit and\na palm oil processing factory industrial permit. Therefore, the\nplantation and industrial permits are already integrated. However, to\nupdate the status in the OSS-RBA system, the company is required to\nrenew its Business Activity Number (NKU) so that the Company Standard\nCertificate can be issued and the permit will be listed. This will also\nallow the company to immediately submit its Investment Activity Report\n(LKPM) on a quarterly basis as required. In addition, the company must\nadjust addendums to basic licensing requirements, including\nenvironmental approval and Building Approval\/Certificate of\nFunctionality (PBG\/SLF), coordinate with relevant technical regional\napparatus organisations (OPD) regarding raw material fulfilment, and\ncomplete the Business Licensing for Supporting Business Activities (PB\nUMKU). Sri Wahyuni expressed hope that through these steps, all of PT\nAgro Artha Surya\u2019s licensing obligations can be promptly fulfilled,\nallowing business activities to proceed in accordance with regulations\nand providing legal certainty for investment in Gorontalo Province.<\/p>",
