This artificial intelligence (AI)\nbased tool allows users to design images creatively, positioning itself\nas a challenger to currently dominant design applications such as Canva\nand Adobe Express.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report by TechCrunch on Tuesday (1\/9) local time,\nGoogle Pics will be integrated into Google Workspace and will be\navailable to Google Workspace subscribers, as well as customers of the\nGoogle AI Pro and Google AI Ultra packages. The new service is primarily\npowered by Google\u2019s Nano Banana AI model and will become available to\nusers in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Similar to popular design applications, Google Pics can be utilised\nby users for daily tasks or promotional activities. For instance, users\ncan create posters, social media posts, and various other\nillustrations.<\/p>\n<p>While it shares similar functions, its workflow differs from Canva\nand Adobe Express. On Canva, creators can independently create and\ndesign works using available tools and publish their designs to earn\nroyalties. In Google Pics, the design process is largely performed by AI\nthat has been pre-trained using the works of artists.<\/p>\n<p>Users primarily act as guides by providing design prompts for what\nthey desire, meaning users do not have to design something entirely from\nscratch. Nevertheless, users can make changes to the generated designs\nas other editing tools are available, such as tools to alter objects,\nmodify elements, and even translate text within images.<\/p>\n<p>The application also supports collaborative editing and the ability\nto generate multiple image options based on the provided guidance,\nallowing users to select the best design according to their preference.\nGoogle Pics is integrated into Google Workspace and will initially be\nfound in Docs and Slides, with the service eventually becoming available\nin Google Drive as well.<\/p>",
