        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Golkar Party\u2019s Central Executive Board Economic\nPolicy Secretary Abdul Rahman Farisi assessed that President Prabowo\nSubianto\u2019s policies have led Indonesia to achieve energy resilience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI see the President\u2019s authority being used appropriately and\ndirected by appointing the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources\n(ESDM). This position is then strengthened by the formation of the Task\nForce for Accelerating Downstreaming and Energy Resilience, established\nthrough a Presidential Decree in early January 2025,\u201d Abdul said in\nJakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the task force has the mandate to accelerate the\ndownstreaming of natural resources, including energy and minerals, while\ncoordinating cross-ministerial policies for greater integration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this structure, the Minister of ESDM holds a key position as\nchair of the Task Force, ensuring policies are not fragmented,\u201d Abdul\nremarked.<\/p>\n<p>The President has also reinforced the Minister of ESDM\u2019s role in the\narchitecture of energy resilience through the National Energy Council\n(DEN), previously established under Law No.\u00a030 of 2007 on Energy, with\nthe Minister of ESDM serving as the Council\u2019s Daily Chairman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this integrated institutional design, Indonesia\u2019s energy sector\nis now more adaptive in responding to global dynamics,\u201d Abdul added.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he noted that Indonesia\u2019s success in achieving energy\nresilience is reflected in the JPMorgan Asset &amp; Wealth Management\nreport titled Pandora\u2019s Box: The Global Energy Shock of 2026, which\nranks Indonesia second in the world for resilience against global energy\nprice shocks.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul emphasised that this achievement demonstrates that the\ninstitutional design, technocratic policy planning, and policy execution\nin the energy sector are proceeding effectively and measurably.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis accomplishment shows that the steps taken are able to produce\ntangible impacts,\u201d Abdul stated.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement, he said, was not attained by chance but is the\nresult of a mature design, policy innovation, and consistent\nexecution.<\/p>\n<p>According to Abdul, amid global geopolitical uncertainties,\nIndonesia\u2019s relatively stable position serves as crucial capital in\nmaintaining the sustainability of national economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>However, he cautioned that future challenges must still be\nanticipated, particularly in ensuring domestic energy availability and\nreducing reliance on imports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe public must provide opportunities and support the steps and\npolicies of the Ministry of ESDM in ensuring the availability of fuel\noil, stabilising subsidised fuel prices, and adjusting non-subsidised\nfuel prices,\u201d Abdul said.<\/p>",
