        "content": "<p>Guru Besar Ilmu Sosiologi Hukum and public policy observer from\nTrisakti University\u2019s Faculty of Law, Trubus Rahardiansah, has proposed\nthat state assets in the Senayan area be optimised for public interest,\nincluding supporting the addition of green open spaces (RTH) in Jakarta.\nAccording to Trubus, the idea aligns with the government\u2019s ongoing plan\nto reorganise the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex after resolving issues\nregarding the use of several state assets in the area, including those\ncurrently used as a golf course under the management of a private\ncompany where a senior figure is a leader of an advocacy organisation.\n\u201cSo this senior figure of the advocacy organisation must be willing to\nlet it go, sincerely, because it is a state asset,\u201d Trubus said on\nTuesday (23\/6). He assessed that the need for green open space in\nJakarta remains a challenge requiring attention. Therefore, various\nstate assets that can be optimised should be considered as part of\nefforts to expand public spaces and green areas. \u201cCurrently, Mr Pramono\nAnung is launching a green open space programme. So, in my opinion, it\nwould be better to turn that golf course into green open space. Because\nnow, Jakarta is struggling to find locations for RTH,\u201d he added. Trubus\nemphasised that the takeover of the Senayan golf course, allegedly\nlinked to a senior figure in an advocacy organisation, to become green\nopen space could serve as an entry point for reorganising state assets\ncontrolled by private entities. \u201cThe history is long. And now, with\nthis, it can become an entry point for managing state assets,\u201d Trubus\nconcluded. Previously, several academics and members of the House of\nRepresentatives encouraged the government to evaluate the use of various\nstate assets in the Senayan area to provide greater benefits for the\npublic. This push emerged after the government executed the takeover of\nthe land and building of the former Hotel Sultan in Block 15 of the\nGelora Bung Karno complex. Deputy Minister of State Secretariat Bambang\nEko Suhariyanto asserted that every state asset must be utilised to the\ngreatest extent for the prosperity and welfare of the people. \u201cThis\nasset must be utilised as much as possible for the prosperity and\nwelfare of the people,\u201d Bambang stated. He explained that the government\nhas a vested interest in ensuring state assets are under proper\nmanagement and used for public benefit. He noted that the land of the\nformer Hotel Sultan is a state asset acquired by the government between\n1959 and 1962 to support the hosting of the Asian Games IV in\nJakarta.<\/p>",
