Antam gold prices have continued their downward trend, falling to approximately Rp2.576,000 per gram as of Friday, 2 October 2026. This decline follows a series of corrections, leaving investors to weigh whether this dip represents a buying opportunity or a continuing trend.

Antam gold prices fell again during trading on Friday (2/10/2026).
This decrease occurred after the previous day’s bullion prices also
underwent a correction, resulting in Antam gold prices moving back into
the range of Rp2.5 million per gram.

According to monitoring from the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on
Friday at 09:10 WIB, the price dropped by Rp5,000 to Rp2,576,000 per
gram from the previous Rp2,581,000 per gram. The buyback price also
decreased to Rp2,386,000 per gram.

List of Antam Gold Prices, 2 October 2026:

0.5 grams: Rp1,338,000

1 gram: Rp2,576,000

2 grams: Rp5,092,000

3 grams: Rp7,613,000

5 grams: Rp12,655,000

10 grams: Rp25,255,000

25 grams: Rp63,012,000

50 grams: Rp126,945,000

100 grams: Rp251,812,000

250 grams: Rp629,265,000

500 grams: Rp1,258,320,000

1,000 grams: Rp2,516,600,000

As a comparison, on Thursday, 1 October 2026, the price of 1 gram of
Antam gold stood at Rp2,581,000. This means that Antam gold prices have
fallen by Rp19,000 per gram over two days from the position of
Rp2,595,000 at the end of September.

Antam bullion prices are subject to change at any time. For the
purchase of Antam gold, a base price is subject to Income Tax (PPh) of
0.25 per cent.

Meanwhile, buyback transactions with a value exceeding Rp10 million
are subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh Pasal 22) of 1.5 per cent.
This tax is deducted directly from the total transaction value during
the buyback process.

When is the right time to buy gold?

The drop in gold prices often leads prospective investors to wonder
if it is time to buy. However, a falling price does not necessarily mean
it has reached its lowest point.

According to Reuters, there is no specific date or price level that
can be definitively identified as the best time to buy gold. The
movement of precious metals is influenced by several factors, ranging
from the US dollar, interest rates, and bond yields to global economic
conditions and geopolitical uncertainty.

One condition to observe is when gold prices undergo a correction
after previously recording an increase. However, prospective buyers
still need to assess whether the correction is continuing or if the
price is beginning to stabilise.

Global market conditions are also crucial to monitor. When the US
dollar strengthens and bond yields increase, gold may face pressure
because gold does not provide interest like fixed-income
instruments.
",
