Gojek and Grab Indonesia\nhave stated their readiness to coordinate with the government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoTo always complies with government regulations, including the\ndirectives conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto regarding the\nprotection of online transport workers as outlined in Presidential\nRegulation No.\u00a027 of 2026,\u201d said the CEO of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk,\nHans Patuwo, in his statement on Saturday (2\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>GoTo is currently conducting a review to understand the details,\nimplications, and necessary adjustments in accordance with the\nregulation on platform fees. GoTo will coordinate with the\ngovernment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to coordinate with the government and all relevant\nstakeholders so that GoTo\/Gojek can continue to provide sustainable\nbenefits to all of society, especially Gojek driver partners and\ncustomers,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Grab\u2019s Response<\/p>\n<p>Grab also responded to Prabowo\u2019s directive on online ride-hailing\nplatform fees. The CEO of Grab Indonesia, Neneng Goenadi, respects\nPrabowo\u2019s guidance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrab Indonesia respects the directive conveyed by President Prabowo\nSubianto in today\u2019s Labour Day speech. As a long-term partner in\nIndonesia\u2019s economic growth, we remain committed to supporting the\ngovernment\u2019s vision in improving public welfare,\u201d Neneng said in her\nstatement.<\/p>\n<p>Grab is still awaiting the official regulation regarding these\nplatform fees. Prabowo wants platform\nfees for ojol to be below 10 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>At the May Day 2026 event at Monas on Friday (1\/5), Prabowo initially\nposed a question to the attending labour crowd. Prabowo asked whether\nojol drivers wanted the platform fee to be just 10 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want 10 per cent, right? I say here, I do not agree with 10 per\ncent.
