The announcement was made following a meeting between company\nrepresentatives and Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives\n(DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal at the Parliament\nComplex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (23\/6).<\/p>\n<p>Wakil Direktur Utama GoTo, Catherine Sutjahyo, confirmed the\ncompany\u2019s commitment to implementing the policy, stating it was a\nfollow-up to President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s directive on 1 May 2026\nregarding the protection and welfare of online drivers. \u2018Effective 1\nJuly 2026, GoTo through Gojek will begin implementing an 8% commission\nfor two-wheeled passenger transport services, or GoRide,\u2019 she said\nduring a press conference.
