        "content": "<p>GM staff returning to RI<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuters): General Motors expatriate staff have<br>\nbegun returning to Indonesia, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven employees were in the first wave which returned from<br>\nSingapore on Monday, it said, and the remainder should be back in<br>\ncountry by the end of the week.<\/p>\n<p>\"The situation continues to improve and is beginning to return<br>\nto normal. We anticipate that families will be able to return<br>\nsoon,\" the statement quoted Bill Botwick, president of GM<br>\nIndonesia, as saying.<\/p>\n<p>The statement, released late on Monday, said 20 employees and<br>\n38 family members had left Indonesia on May 16. The company's<br>\ninternational headquarters had said on May 15 that a plant in<br>\nIndonesia which made Opel Blazers for the Indonesian market had<br>\nstopped production as of May 14.<\/p>\n<p>The latest GM statement said normal operations were resumed on<br>\nMay 18.<\/p>",
