        "content": "<p>Give us Islamic law<\/p>\n<p>From Republika<\/p>\n<p>Murder, robbery, pornography, prostitution and a protracted<br>\neconomic crisis are common for Indonesians today.<\/p>\n<p>Understandably, efforts have been made to address these social<br>\nills. One of these efforts is the amendment of the 1945<br>\nConstitution. Many people believe that without this amendment,<br>\nthe Constitution cannot be properly implemented because many<br>\narticles are manipulated and interpreted only with a view toward<br>\npreserving power.<\/p>\n<p>The question is whether or not all these social ills can be<br>\nsolved once the Constitution is amended. If we can amend the<br>\npresent Constitution, which has been held sacred for 56 years, of<br>\ncourse the new Constitution (i.e. the amended 1945 Constitution)<br>\ncould be amended even easier. Clearly, this shows that whatever<br>\nis made by human reason is limited.<\/p>\n<p>God has endowed upon mankind the perfect Dinul Islam, with its<br>\nfair and comprehensive laws.
