The General Chairman of Gibranku, Ananta Agung Junaedy, emphasised\nthat political loyalty should not only apply during campaign periods,\nthe distribution of seats, or the determination of strategic roles. True\nloyalty, he stated, must serve as a protective shield when the endorsed\nfigure faces unfounded attacks in public opinion.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe at the grassroots level continue to move and stand firm, yet we\nsee almost no proportional defence from the political parties that have\nstood in the same ranks until now. It is very unfortunate if political\ncalculations cause coalition partners to appear to be \u2018playing it safe\u2019\nand leaving their figure to be attacked alone. We wish to remind\npolitical parties that loyalty is tested during a storm, not just when\nthe sea is calm,\u201d Ananta asserted in a statement on Sunday, 27 September\n2026.<\/p>\n
Gibranku presented three points addressed to coalition political\nparties. First, coalition parties must be consistent in their defence.\nThey should not only be willing to enjoy the results of shared political\nhard work but also be brave enough to shoulder the responsibility of\ncorrecting disinformation in the public sphere. This issue regarding\neducational certificates is a form of character assassination that must\nbe fought collectively, rather than avoided for the sake of a comfort\nzone.<\/p>\n
\u201cPolitical dignity and loyalty\u2014a healthy and dignified coalition is\nbuilt on mutual trust and mutual protection. The silence and \u2018playing it\nsafe\u2019 attitude of political parties actually raises significant\nquestions among volunteers and the wider public regarding the true\ndirection of these parties\u2019 loyalty,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Thirdly, regarding the synergy between elites and the grassroots,\nvolunteers demand that political elites immediately tighten their ranks,\ncast aside pragmatic attitudes, and demonstrate decisiveness before the\nmedia.<\/p>\n
