        "content": "<p>Pacitan, East Java (ANTARA) - Indonesia\u2019s Vice President Gibran\nRakabuming Raka has urged students at Pondok Pesantren Tremas in\nArjosari sub-district, Pacitan regency, to master artificial\nintelligence (AI) and digital technology as preparation for facing\nfuture challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Gibran conveyed this during a working visit to Pondok Pesantren\nTremas in Pacitan regency, East Java, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the Vice President arrived around 07:00 WIB by\nhelicopter from Iswahjudi Air Base in Magetan and was welcomed by the\npesantren\u2019s supervisor KH Luqman Hakim Dimyathi along with thousands of\nstudents.<\/p>\n<p>The event, themed Santri Innovation: Building an Excellent Generation\nof Students in the Technology Era, was also attended by the President\u2019s\nSpecial Envoy for Youth Development and Arts Workers Raffi Ahmad, as\nwell as East Java Deputy Governor Emil Elestianto Dardak.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, the Vice President emphasised the importance of\nutilising technology in a positive and productive manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI advise the students to optimise the presence of AI in learning\nactivities as well as daily life,\u201d Gibran stated.<\/p>\n<p>He also reminded them not to misuse technology, while encouraging\nstudents to continuously enhance their digital capacities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeachers must be more prepared and more proficient in technology\nthan their students,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the current development of technology is\nprogressing very rapidly, so society needs to adapt and utilise it to\nincrease productivity.<\/p>\n<p>The supervisor of Pondok Tremas, KH Luqman Hakim Dimyathi, welcomed\nthe encouragement. He stated that the pesantren is open to developing\nmodern knowledge such as robotics, coding, and AI.<\/p>\n<p>Pondok Tremas is known as one of the oldest pesantren in Pacitan and\nhas strong historical value, including connections to the family of\nIndonesia\u2019s sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.<\/p>",
