        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka departed\nfrom Jakarta for North Sumatra on Friday morning to inspect several\nlocations of temporary housing (huntara) and permanent housing (huntap)\nfor residents affected by disasters in Sumatra, as well as various\ninfrastructure projects.<\/p>\n<p>According to observations by ANTARA, Gibran and his delegation\ndeparted from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at\napproximately 05:15 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice President\u2019s visit is intended to ensure that the\nconstruction of housing and facilities for affected communities is\nprogressing as planned.<\/p>\n<p>The reconstruction of the three provinces affected by\nhydrometeorological disasters in Sumatra is being carried out jointly by\n30 ministries\/agencies, with support from the private sector under the\ncoordination of the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task\nForce (PRR).<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the PRR Task Force as of 8 August 2026, the\nnumber of completed boreholes in Aceh has reached 511 units, alongside\n259 boreholes equipped with bathing, washing, and toilet (MCK)\nfacilities.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the optimisation of lightly damaged paddy fields has\nreached 6,706 hectares, while the rehabilitation of damaged paddy fields\nhas reached 4,393 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding living allowances, out of the allocated budget, 118,594\nindividuals have received assistance. To date, 18,916 units of temporary\nhousing (huntara) have been constructed, with 18,874 units currently\noccupied, while 309 units of permanent housing (huntap) are ready for\nconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, regarding regional transfer funds (TKD) from the\ncentral government to local governments, amounting to\nRp1,986,498,068,502, as of 16 July 2026, the TKD funds utilised for 346\nphysical packages total approximately Rp337.29 billion, representing\nabout 40 per cent of the allocation.<\/p>",
