        "content": "<p>The Gianyar Regency Government (Pemkab) has launched the Beautiful\nStatistics Village (Cantik) Programme 2026. This programme, initiated\njointly with the Gianyar Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS), aims\nto improve village capacities in data management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe importance of strengthening village capacities in statistical\ndata management to support targeted development planning,\u201d said the\nSecretary of Gianyar Regency, I Gusti Bagus Adi Widhya Utama, alias Bem,\nin his statement on Thursday (23\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Bem stated that there are efforts to enhance capacities and abilities\nin data management at the village level through structured and\nsustainable coaching. Some of these efforts include statistical literacy\nand awareness at the village level, encouraging data management\nstandardisation, and forming village statistical agents capable of\nprocessing and utilising data optimally.<\/p>\n<p>With these efforts, it is hoped that each village can have accurate\nand quality statistical data as a basis for decision-making in the\ncommunity. Development can run more effectively and on target if the\nstatistical data is accurate and of quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe success of the Beautiful Village programme requires cross-sector\ncollaboration, from village governments, BPS, Bappeda, the PMD Office,\nto Diskominfo, to realise an integrated data ecosystem,\u201d said Bem.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Gianyar Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS),\nMaria Iin Maidiana, said that statistical coaching will be handled\ndirectly by BPS. Village governments to sub-districts are required to\nparticipate in the coaching, which will be adjusted to the development\nof the National Statistical System (SSN) and support the implementation\nof One Data Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis activity also aims to increase statistical literacy, ensure\ndata management standardisation, and optimise data utilisation to\nsupport village development,\u201d said Maria.<\/p>\n<p>In the coaching process, statistical agents at the village level will\nbe produced and will become drivers in data management according to\nstatistical principles. If successful and has a positive impact, quality\nand accurate statistical data can be managed by all villages and\nsub-districts in Gianyar Regency as a step towards realising One Data\nVillage Indonesia.<\/p>",
