German firms seek partners<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): German medium and small sized companies are
\nlooking for local partners in the sales of their photo products,
\na visiting German executive said here yesterday.<\/p>\n
The secretary of the Association of the German Precision
\nMechanics and Optical Industries, Peter Kind, who is now leading
\na trade delegation here, told reporters that the delegation's 26
\nmembers had been holding discussions with their potential local
\npartners on the possibility of cooperation in the sales of their
\nproducts.<\/p>\n
The products, now being displayed in a three-day exhibition at
\nthe Jakarta Convention Center to be ended today, included
\nprofessional and amateur camera systems, photolab equipment and
\nprecision optics, he said.<\/p>\n
The delegation members, he said, represented various
\ncompanies, such as Leica, Agfa, Minox, Rodenstock, and Rollei.<\/p>\n
The showcase is organized by the German-Indonesian Chamber of
\nIndustry and Commerce (Ekonid). (13)<\/p>",
