        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Gerindra Party spokesperson and Deputy Chairman of\nCommission II of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Bahtra Banint,\nstated that the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme is set to open\nmillions of job opportunities for the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the MBG programme alone, it can contribute to the workforce,\nbecause if I am not mistaken, each kitchen requires approximately 50\npeople in the SPPG. If we multiply 50 people by 27,000 kitchens, that\nmeans there are nearly 1.3 million people,\u201d he said in Central Jakarta\non Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, these millions of job opportunities are equivalent\nto the scale of labour recruitment in factories. He expressed regret\nthat this positive impact has escaped public scrutiny.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have seen how the management of MBG has been perceived as chaotic\nand how it is considered poorly targeted. In reality, there are many\nbenefits there that need to be closely examined by everyone,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he revealed that survey results from the Indonesia\nPolling Centre (Puspoll Indonesia) for the period of 18-26 May 2026\nrecorded that 55.5 per cent of respondents support the MBG\nprogramme.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he noted that the survey results show that MBG is one\nof the government programmes whose benefits are most felt by the\ncommunity. He believes these results serve as a positive indicator of\nPresident Prabowo\u2019s administration performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis means that it does not align with the public framing we see\ntoday, which is very massive in suggesting that MBG must be stopped or\nthat its benefits for the masses are very small. However, the survey\nresults show that this is actually one of the performance indicators of\nPresident Prabowo\u2019s government,<\/p>",
