        "content": "<p>Geothermal seminar in Bali<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): IBC Asia Ltd., in cooperation with the<br>\nInternational Institute of Geothermal Research and Geothermal<br>\nEnergy Association, will organize a seminar in Bali called<br>\n\"Geothermal Power in Asia '97 Conference\" from Feb. 24 to 28.<\/p>\n<p>The company announced yesterday geothermal experts from<br>\nIndonesia, the Philippines, Japan, New Zealand, Turkey, Hong<br>\nKong, U.S. and the U.K. would talk about geothermal development,<br>\ntax incentives, technology transfer, risk management and<br>\ninternational financing during the conference.<\/p>\n<p>Regional focus on geothermal power has continued to gather<br>\ninterest against a backdrop of strong government support for<br>\ncleaner energy, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>\"To date, geothermal development has succeeded in attracting<br>\nsubstantial international funds particularly in Indonesia and the<br>\nPhilippines,\" the company said.
