        "content": "<p>Gemini to lose concession<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The government is revoking PT Gemini Timber<br>\nJoint Corp.'s exploitation rights over its forest concession in<br>\nthe Kolaka district of Southeast Sulawesi, the province's<br>\ngovernor said.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Laode Kaimuddin told a recent hearing with the<br>\nprovincial council that Gemini owes more than Rp 1 billion<br>\n(US$428,000), mostly to the government, in unpaid taxes and<br>\nunpaid reforestation fees.<\/p>\n<p>Laode said the government and the provincial administration<br>\nwill continue pushing the company to fulfill its obligations.<\/p>\n<p>\"Debt is debt and it must be paid,\" Laode was quoted by Antara<br>\nas saying.<\/p>\n<p>Gemini's rights over its 23,000-hectare concession in Kolaka<br>\nend next year.
