        "content": "<p>Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings Limited posted record\nsales and revenue growth in the first half of this year, according to\nits interim report released on Monday (17\/8). The company announced\nrecord sales of more than 1.42 million vehicles, with revenue growing 15\nper cent year on year to 173.6 billion yuan (1 yuan = Rp2,651) during\nthe period. Marking the company\u2019s sixth consecutive year of positive\nfirst-half revenue growth, the company also recorded a 46 per cent\nincrease in core profit attributable to owners of the parent company,\nreaching 9.68 billion yuan for the period. Geely Auto\u2019s overseas sales\nsoared 158 per cent year on year to more than 474,000 units during the\nperiod, surpassing its total export volume for the whole of 2025. The\nautomaker, based in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province in\neastern China, operates in 114 overseas markets.<\/p>",
