Jakarta \u2013 The management of the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex\n(PPKGBK) recorded a revenue of Rp812 billion throughout 2025. This\nachievement is a commitment to strengthening the optimisation of state\nasset utilisation.<\/p>\n
The President Director of PPKGBK, Rakhmadi A. Kusumo, said that this\nrevenue is the highest in the 63 years of managing the GBK area and also\nmarks a new history for the management of these state assets.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter recording a revenue of Rp566 billion in 2024, GBK recorded a\nrevenue of Rp812 billion in 2025 based on audited financial reports,\u201d\nsaid Rakhmadi in a statement in Jakarta, Sunday, May 17, 2026.<\/p>\n
He explained that this achievement is also the result of joint\nefforts from all levels, government support, partners, users of the area\nand the community. This performance further strengthens the momentum for\noptimising state assets, including through the arrangement of Block 15,\nwhich is expected to provide added economic value and greater benefits\nfor the country and society.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis achievement is an encouragement for us to continue maintaining\nour mandate to manage the GBK area professionally, orderly and provide\nreal benefits for the country and the public,\u201d said Rakhmadi.<\/p>\n
The Director of Finance at PPKGBK, Hendry Arisandi, added that GBK\u2019s\nrevenue in 2025 shows a significant increase compared to the\npost-COVID-19 period. \u201cIn 2022, GBK\u2019s revenue was recorded at Rp255\nbillion. This means that revenue in 2025 has increased almost fourfold\nin just three years,\u201d said Hendry.<\/p>\n
Throughout 2025, the GBK area continues to be used for various sports\nactivities, culture, MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and\nexhibitions), recreation, commercial activities, as well as national and\ninternational scale public agendas.<\/p>\n
PPKGBK hopes that this positive performance can be further\nstrengthened through the arrangement and optimisation of Block 15.\nPPKGBK views the arrangement of Block 15 as an important part of the\nagenda to optimise state assets in the GBK area.<\/p>\n
The process is expected to strengthen the function of the GBK area as\na centre for sports, public space, national activities, MICE,\nrecreation, and healthy and measurable economic activities.<\/p>\n
In its implementation, PPKGBK coordinates with the Ministry of State\nSecretariat, the Ministry of Finance, local governments, law enforcement\nagencies, the Police, the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) and\nother related elements. This coordination is carried out so that all\nprocesses related to Block 15 run in an orderly, safe, measurable manner\nand in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
