A gas cylinder leak resulted in three people suffering severe burn\ninjuries, with burns ranging from 30 to 80 per cent, in central Bogor,\nBogor City. The three victims are members of one family consisting of a\nhusband, wife, and their seven-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
\u201cConfirmed. Three victims suffered burn injuries and all three are\ncurrently being treated at Bogor City General Hospital,\u201d said Bogor\nTengah Police Chief Kompol Waluyo when asked for confirmation on\nTuesday, 10 March 2026.<\/p>\n
The three victims have been identified as MN (62), his wife HE (42),\nand their daughter PR (7). All three suffered burn injuries ranging from\n30 to 80 per cent.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe injury breakdown is as follows: MN suffered 80 per cent burns,\nHE suffered 50 per cent burns, and PR suffered 50 per cent burns. They\nare currently being treated at Bogor City General Hospital,\u201d said\nWaluyo.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported to have occurred when HE was preparing to\ncook at approximately 10.00 WIB. At the time of the incident, all three\nvictims were gathered and conversing in the living room of their rented\nhouse.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe homeowner was about to cook when a three-kilogramme gas cylinder\nsuddenly leaked. The family was gathered together in the living room\nwhen flames suddenly engulfed all three victims,\u201d said Sumardi, Head of\nOperations at Bogor City Tagana, when contacted separately.<\/p>\n
