        "content": "<p>The Garuda Merah Putih Pioneer Bridge in Blok Ciranca, Talaga Kulon\nVillage, Talaga District, Majalengka, West Java, was inaugurated on\nThursday. The ceremony was attended by Majalengka Regent Eman Suherman\nalongside the Commander of Military District 0617\/Majalengka, Lieutenant\nColonel Inf. Rendra Dwi Jayanto. The bridge serves as a vital crossing\nconnecting Campaga Village (Blok Cilengsar) and Talaga Kulon Village\n(Blok Ciranca).<\/p>\n<p>Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Rendra Dwi Jayanto explained that the\nconstruction of the approximately 26-metre bridge stemmed from\nresidents\u2019 reports about the damaged local access road. His office\nimmediately coordinated and reported the condition to the Majalengka\nRegent and the Army Headquarters so that repairs could be carried out\npromptly.<\/p>\n<p>\"This bridge is very vital for schoolchildren and traffic,\" Rendra\nstated in Majalengka on Thursday. He praised the strong spirit of mutual\ncooperation and solidarity among local residents who worked\nshoulder-to-shoulder with TNI soldiers during the construction process,\nenabling the project to be completed within one month. \"We urge that\nthis bridge be maintained and looked after together so that its benefits\nare long-lasting and durable for residents\u2019 connectivity,\" Rendra\nappealed.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Majalengka Regent Eman Suherman appreciated the swift\nresponse of the Military District Commander amidst regional budget\nlimitations. He noted that the regional budget had been streamlined from\nRp3.5 trillion to Rp2.9 trillion. \"We must keep moving to meet\nresidents\u2019 infrastructure needs. The key lies in active collaboration,\nsuch as the Commander\u2019s quick action in securing central government\nprogrammes and responding rapidly to community needs,\" Eman said.<\/p>\n<p>With this bridge, residents can now cover shorter distances and save\ntime when travelling to activity centres like Pasar Talaga. Looking\nahead, the Majalengka Regency Government is also open to developing\nconnecting roads spanning 500 metres to 1.5 kilometres to link villages,\npending agreement on land acquisition from residents.<\/p>\n<p>Talaga Sub-district Head Agus Heriyanto expressed his utmost\ngratitude and appreciation to the Majalengka Regency Government and the\nIndonesian Army for realising the bridge\u2019s construction. \"We are very\ngrateful and appreciate the swift action of the Regent and the Military\nDistrict Commander. This bridge has long been dreamed of by the\ncommunities in these two villages.
