The Mataram City Environmental Agency (DLH) plans to submit a request\nfor additional funding to cover the operational costs of fuel oil (BBM)\nfor garbage transport vehicles. This step follows the increase in\nDexlite prices.<\/p>\n
Head of DLH Mataram City, Nizar Denny Cahyadi, stated that the\ncurrent budget for garbage transport vehicle operations is only\nsufficient until mid-November 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are calculating the needs for this year. Yesterday\u2019s calculations\nwith the current prices show that Dexlite can only be accommodated until\nmid-November. So, it is likely that the revised budget will include an\naddition,\u201d said the Head of the Mataram City Environmental Agency (DLH)\non Sunday (26\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
He added that his agency has coordinated with the Regional Secretary\nand the Assistant for Government regarding the additional budget\nneeds.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf the (Dexlite) price remains at the current level, we have no\nchoice but to increase the budget for Dexlite,\u201d Nizar continued.<\/p>\n
Before the Dexlite price reached Rp 23,600-24,659 per litre, DLH\nMataram had budgeted around Rp 10 billion for BBM needs. This budget\ncovers tree trimming activities, garden watering, green open spaces\n(RTH), and garbage vehicles.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe increase is nearly 85 percent. Previously, we budgeted Rp 10\nbillion for BBM overall. We estimate it will rise by Rp 1.4 billion. So,\nthe total will be Rp 11.4 billion; we will see the developments first.\nIf it can decrease, alhamdulillah. But if the (Dexlite) price remains\nstagnant like now, we have no choice but to add to the budget,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n
Despite the significant rise in Dexlite prices, Nizar assured that\ngarbage vehicle operations will continue normally. He emphasised that\nDLH Mataram will not cut back on waste transport operations. Because if\nthey economise, rubbish will pile up at various disposal points.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe routes are clear, and the transport is clear. If we economise,\nthe rubbish will pile up again at certain points. We cannot economise on\noperations like this,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n
As is known, a few days ago, PT Pertamina (Persero) raised the prices\nof several non-subsidised fuel oil (BBM) products. This price increase\nhas been in effect since last week, Saturday (18\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Based on the mypertamina.id website, the increase affects only\nPertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex fuels. Meanwhile, other\nnon-subsidised BBM, namely Pertamax and Pertamax Green, have not changed\nin price.<\/p>\n
For example, in the Jakarta region, Pertamax Turbo is now priced at\nRp 19,400\/litre, up Rp 6,300\/litre from the previous Rp 13,100\/litre.\nThis is followed by Dexlite at Rp 23,600\/litre, up Rp 9,400\/litre from\nthe previous Rp 14,200\/litre.
