Garbage lands man in court<\/p>\n
BOGOR: A resident of the upmarket housing complex Bukit Sentul
\nwas tried at Cibinong District Court on Wednesday for snatching
\nand copying a document containing the names of people who had not
\npaid their garbage and security fees.<\/p>\n
Kunarso Suryaputra, the defendant, was tried following a
\nlawsuit filed by Muhayat and his colleagues at PT Sukaputra Graha
\nCemerlang, a company hired to collect garbage from houses in the
\ncomplex.<\/p>\n
According to Muhayat, Kunarso caused them inconvenience by
\ntaking the document and copying it.<\/p>\n
He said that Kunarso, the chairman of community unit (RW) in
\nthe complex, had asked why garbage from a number of houses was
\nnot being collected.<\/p>\n
Muhayat answered that Kunarso and other people named on the
\ndocument that had not paid their garbage and security fees.
\nKunarso then snatched the document from Muhayat and copied it in
\nhis facsimile.<\/p>\n
The fees range from Rp 100,000 to Rp 600,000 depending on the
\nhouse size. Some 700 residents have not paid their fees because
\nthey are waiting for an explanation from the complex developer on
\nhow the fees were set.--JP<\/p>",
