        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 Futures broker ratings serve as a crucial indicator for\nassessing credibility, business health, and service quality within the\nderivatives trading industry.<\/p>\n<p>Amid growing public interest in high-risk investment instruments, the\nrating system helps investors distinguish between brokers with strong\ngovernance and those potentially posing risks.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond reflecting financial performance, ratings also relate to\nregulatory compliance, transaction transparency, and a firm\u2019s ability to\nsafeguard client funds.<\/p>\n<p>Higher ratings correlate with increased market confidence in the\nsafety and professionalism of services offered.<\/p>\n<p>However, regulatory oversight remains paramount given the high\nvolatility of futures trading, which makes the sector vulnerable to\nspeculation and misuse without strict monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti) under the\nMinistry of Trade has released its periodic ratings for all futures\nbrokers for Q1 2026 (January-March).<\/p>\n<p>Seven companies received top ratings: PT Valbury Asia Futures, PT\nFinex Bisnis Solusi Futures, PT Argodana Futures, PT Dupoin Futures\nIndonesia, PT Century Investment Futures, PT CGS International Futures\nIndonesia (formerly PT CGS-CIMB Futures Indonesia), and PT Gensesis\nGemilang Futures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImproved quality and performance of futures brokers are expected to\nboost public confidence and a sense of security in commodity futures\ntrading,\u201d said Bappebti Chief Tirta Karma Senjaya in a statement on\nSunday (24 May).<\/p>\n<p>Tirta added that the ratings are part of routine quarterly\nevaluations designed to motivate brokers to enhance service quality and\ncorporate performance.<\/p>\n<p>The assessment was conducted based on oversight from the Commodity\nFutures Trading Supervision and Enforcement Bureau (PBK), Warehouse\nReceipt System (SRG), and Commodity Auction Market (PLK).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PBK, SRG, and PLK Bureau Chief Matheus Hendro Purnomo\nexplained that the Q1 2026 periodic ratings assessed 67 active futures\nbrokers.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation mechanism has been refined to be more adaptive,\nobjective, and comprehensive in measuring compliance, business operation\nquality, and futures broker governance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis update aligns with evolving business activities, industry\ndynamics, and strengthens risk-based supervision to foster a healthy,\norderly, transparent, and integrity-driven sector,\u201d said Hendro.<\/p>\n<p>The three key indicators in the periodic rating are futures broker\nperformance metrics, penalty points, and bonus points.<\/p>",
