Funpolis Park comes to RI<\/p>\n
SURABAYA, East Java: PT Pakuwon Jati, a publicly-listed
\ndeveloper, has through its subsidiary PT Pakuwon Sentrawisata set
\nup a cooperation with two Singaporean investors to build
\nIndonesia's first Funpolis Park.<\/p>\n
The Singaporean investors are Funpolis Asia Pte. Ltd. and
\nBeaver Investment Pte. Ltd. The 3,000-square meter park, to be
\nbuilt near Tunjungan Plaza, is expected to start operation in
\nNovember.<\/p>\n
Funpolis Park in Indonesia will be the fifth Funpolis
\namusement park to be built; the other four are all in Asia.<\/p>\n
Maliki Tedja, president of Pakuwon Jati, said here on Sunday
\nthat total investment in the project will be US$4 million. PT
\nPakuwon Funpolis Indonesia will own and operate the park, of
\nwhich 30 percent of the shares will be owned by Pakuwon
\nSentrawisata, 61 percent by Funpolis Asia, and the remaining 9
\npercent by Beaver Investment.<\/p>\n
\"This park will be the most sophisticated here yet. Its
\nequipment will be imported from Europe and the United States, and
\nit will accommodate up to 600 visitors at a time,\" Maliki said
