Unfortunately, if not\ncareful, this technology can lead to risks of account breaches,\nresulting in savings being completely drained.<\/p>\n<p>Several fraud methods in the m-Banking application include personal\ndata theft, scams, or phishing. To avoid this, here are steps that\nm-banking account holders can take, quoted from the official website of\nthe Financial Services Authority:<\/p>\n<p>Tips to Avoid Digital Banking Crimes:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>Do not disclose access codes or personal Personal Identification\nNumber (PIN) to others.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Do not record or store access codes or personal SMS banking\nnumbers in places easily accessible to others.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Carefully check transactions before confirming them to\nproceed.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>After each transaction, wait a few moments to receive a response\nregarding the transaction.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>For every transaction, customers will receive a notification\nmessage via SMS or email that will be stored in the inbox.
