        "content": "<p>The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has ensured\nthat the delivery of fuel (BBM) to all petrol stations (SPBU) in Jember\nRegency, East Java, has returned to normal. Queues of vehicles at\nseveral petrol stations have been recorded as easing compared to\nprevious days.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of BPH Migas, Wahyudi Anas, confirmed the recovery of the\nfuel supply during an inspection of a petrol station in Jember Regency\non Friday night (11\/9).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA total of 15 trucks from Surabaya have been deployed specifically\nto supply petrol stations in Jember,\u201d said Wahyudi Anas during his visit\nto the station in Jember, East Java, on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the fuel scarcity that occurred in Jember a few\ndays ago was due to distribution constraints from the Tanjung Wangi\nIntegrated Terminal (IT) in Banyuwangi, caused by heavy vehicle traffic\naround the terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Wahyudi stated that logistics vehicles attempting to cross from the\nASDP Ketapang branch to Gilimanuk were stuck in congestion, which\nsubsequently impacted the access routes for fuel tankers.<\/p>\n<p>Wahyudi explained that due to the congestion around Ketapang Port,\nfuel distribution could not be carried out under normal conditions, with\nfuel transport vehicles taking significantly longer than usual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormally, fuel distribution to the Jember region takes only 6 to 8\nhours. However, due to the congestion, it is taking 12 hours or more for\na single trip,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To alleviate the supply bottleneck caused by the congestion at\nKetapang Port, PT Pertamina Patrab Niaga took swift action by diverting\nthe fuel supply point for the Jember region from the Tanjung Wangi\nIntegrated Terminal to the Surabaya Integrated Terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Wahyudi urged the residents of Jember Regency to purchase fuel wisely\naccording to their needs and not to engage in panic buying. The public\nis also advised not to force themselves to queue during periods of high\ndensity at petrol stations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ensure that we will continue to monitor the situation to smooth\nthe fuel distribution in Jember Regency,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
