        "content": "<p>Fuel prices remain unchanged this month<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta Post, Jakarta<\/p>\n<p>State oil and gas company Pertamina has decided to maintain the<br>\nprice of fuel products for transportation and industry for this<br>\nmonth, a media statement said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The fuel prices were unchanged from January. Premium fuel for<br>\nindustry is listed at Rp 2,100 per liter, kerosene Rp 2,200 per<br>\nliter, automotive diesel fuel Rp 2,050 per liter and industrial<br>\ndiesel fuel Rp 1,600.<\/p>\n<p>The price of premium gasoline at gas pumps will remain flat at<br>\nRp 1,810 per liter, while the price of kerosene is still Rp 1,800<br>\nper liter.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina's high-quality gasoline brands Pertamax and Pertamax<br>\nPlus will remain at Rp 4,000 per liter and Rp 4,200 per liter,<br>\nrespectively.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina said that the only adjustment of fuel prices was in<br>\nthe international bunker prices, valid starting today.<\/p>\n<p>Automotive diesel price dropped from 38 U.S. cents per liter<br>\nin January to 35.4 U.S cents per liter and industrial diesel from<br>\n36.2 U.S cents per liter to 33.8 U.S cents per liter. Fuel oil<br>\ndeclined from 20.3 U.S. cents per liter to 19.5 U.S cents per<br>\nliter.<\/p>\n<p>Bunker international prices are not subject to tax and are<br>\nvalid for foreign ships, vessels heading abroad and bunker fuel<br>\nagents.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina decides on new fuel prices every month based on<br>\nprices in neighboring Singapore and exchange rate developments.<br>\nBut the government has decided not to raise fuel prices during<br>\nthe elections.<\/p>\n<p>The cash-strapped government is still mulling over various<br>\nschemes that will increase domestic retail fuel prices by cutting<br>\nsubsidies. Last year, the fuel subsidy amounted to Rp 63 trillion<br>\n($6.89 billion) amid soaring international crude oil prices,<br>\nwhich at one point reached $55 per barrel.<\/p>",
