        "content": "<p>Fuel money to be disbursed in NTT<\/p>\n<p>KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: The central government will soon<br>\ndisburse funds worth Rp 229 billion (US$23.8 million) to 888<br>\nsubdistricts across East Nusa Tenggara, a provincial government<br>\nspokesman announced on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The money, which was saved from the fuel subsidy cuts and<br>\nearmarked for the poor, would be used for infrastructure<br>\ndevelopment in the province, including the building of bridges,<br>\nand the provision of clean water, Umbu Saga Anakaka said.<\/p>\n<p>The disbursements would start in September this year, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The provincial government was encouraging people to propose<br>\nprojects that benefited their areas, Anakaka said.<\/p>\n<p>\"The projects will be based on proposals by the people and<br>\nwill not be dictated by either the provincial or regional<br>\ngovernments.
