Jogja Financial Festival (JFF) 2026 was enlivened by a series of\nEducational Classes, one of which was led by Stock Enthusiast Michael\nYeoh and Digital & Marketing Communication Head Caroline Setiabudi\nof Bank Mega. The session discussed how to profit from shares.<\/p>\n
The event, under the theme \u2018If You Have Rp10-100 Million Today, Where\nShould It Go?\u2019, was held on the second floor of the Jogja Expo Center\n(JEC), Kapanewon Banguntapan, Bantul, on Friday 22 May 2026.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of chairs, initially empty, began to fill with participants\nfrom various age groups. They listened with enthusiasm to Michael and\nCaroline as Michael shared tips on how to start investing in stocks.<\/p>\n
Next, Caroline continued the presentation, outlining Bank Mega\nproducts that participants could utilise.<\/p>\n
During the event, the host invited five participants to answer\nquestions. Several participants jostled to step forward. Five\nparticipants were eventually chosen; each answered questions posed by\nthe host about Bank Mega\u2019s products.<\/p>\n
The Q&A session was lively, with answers varying, some correct\nand some wrong. Those who answered correctly received prizes from Bank\nMega.<\/p>\n
In addition, the host opened a further Q&A session for two\nquestioners. Even with a limit of two, many hands went up, and the host\nselected two people to ask.<\/p>\n
The first questioner was Dian, a woman in her thirties, who asked\nMichael several questions about investing in stocks; Michael\u2019s responses\nwere deemed satisfactory.<\/p>\n
Next, a man who said he was a fan of Michael asked the market\ncommentator for wise strategies to face the current market. Michael\nanswered slowly and in detail, outlining several takeaways about the\nmarket.<\/p>\n
Not satisfied with only two questioners, the host opened space for\ntwo more. Again, many participants wished to ask questions, and two more\nwere chosen.<\/p>\n
The two participants directed their questions to Caroline and were\nanswered to everyone\u2019s satisfaction. The session closed with a final\nquestion directed at Michael.<\/p>\n
One Educational Class participant, Prasada Agra Swatiayana (23), said\nhe had travelled all the way from Semarang to attend the financial class\nto learn about stocks. \u2018I\u2019m from Semarang. Why did I join Jogja\nFinancial? Firstly, I want to learn about stocks,\u2019 Agra said after the\nevent.<\/p>\n
Agra has been exploring the capital market for five years. He wished\nto ask Michael about the market and was glad to have the opportunity.\n\u2018I\u2019ve been in the stock market field for five years, so I wanted to ask\nMichael Yeoh,\u2019 he explained.<\/p>\n
