        "content": "<p>From France, President Prabowo Brings Rp61.25 Trillion in Cooperation\nAchievements<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Halim\nPerdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, Saturday morning, May 30, after\ncompleting his state visit to France.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo was greeted by Vice President of the Republic of\nIndonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie\nSjamsoeddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and\nDeputy Commander of the Indonesian National Army Lieutenant General TNI\nTandyo Budi Revita. Prabowo\u2019s visit to France resulted in a number of\nimportant achievements in strengthening bilateral relations between\nIndonesia and France.<\/p>\n<p>In the series of state agendas, the two countries strengthened\ncooperation in various strategic fields, including economy, investment,\ntrade, and defense. One of the main achievements of the visit was the\nlaunch of the France-Indonesia High Level Business Council, which\nbrought together leaders of the two countries\u2019 business world.<\/p>\n<p>The forum also produced a number of new commercial agreements that\nare expected to strengthen economic relations and open up opportunities\nfor wider cooperation in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The momentum of the business council\u2019s launch resulted in four new\ncommercial deals worth USD 3.5 billion or Rp61.25 trillion (assuming a\nrate of Rp17,500\/USD) which are focused on the energy security, trade,\nand defense cooperation sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the state agenda, Prabowo also took the time to meet and\ngreet the Indonesian diaspora in Paris, including performing the Eid\nal-Adha prayer with the Indonesian people. The visit to France reaffirms\nIndonesia\u2019s commitment to expanding strategic partnerships with various\nfriendly countries to support national development and strengthen\nIndonesia\u2019s position in the global arena.<\/p>\n<p>On a different occasion, the Minister of Investment and\nIndustrialization\/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani assessed that the\nFrance-Indonesia High Level Business Council was an important milestone\nin strengthening economic cooperation between Indonesia and France, as\nwell as expanding mutually beneficial investment and trade\nopportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration of the high-level business council took place on May\n28, 2026 and was witnessed directly by the President of the Republic of\nIndonesia Prabowo Subianto and the President of France Emmanuel\nMacron.<\/p>",
