        "content": "<p>Sidang jama\u2019ah Jum\u2019ah yang dirahmati Allah,<\/p>\n<p>Let us be grateful to Allah SWT because we are blessed with health\nand faithful awareness to perform Friday prayers this afternoon. As the\nkhatib quoted from the earlier verse, we must always guard ourselves and\nlive this life with piety so that when we leave this world, we die as\nMuslims, surrendering ourselves to Allah SWT.<\/p>\n<p>Shalawat and salam may always be bestowed upon the Great Prophet\nMuhammad SAW, his family, his companions, and upon us as his followers\nwho constantly strive to obey his teachings. The khatib also does not\nforget to advise himself and all Friday congregants to increase faith\nand piety to the Lord of the universe.<\/p>\n<p>Blessed Friday congregants,<\/p>\n<p>One day, the Quraysh dignitaries held a special meeting. This was\nbecause a Quraysh woman from the Bani Makhzum had committed theft.\nPanicked and anxious that this case would be exposed to the public, they\nthought hard.<\/p>\n<p>Who could lobby the Prophet Muhammad SAW to have this case dismissed?\nThe choice fell upon Usamah bin Zaid.<\/p>\n<p>Usamah rushed to meet the Prophet Muhammad SAW very carefully and\nfull of hope. The Prophet\u2019s beloved young man expressed the purpose of\nhis visit. In essence, he requested a special privilege so that the\nProphet SAW would not criminalise this case.<\/p>\n<p>Understanding the purpose of Usamah\u2019s visit, the Prophet Muhammad\nSAW\u2019s face turned red. He restrained extraordinary anger.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the Prophet Muhammad SAW stood up and said, \u201cIndeed, what\ndestroyed the people before you was (their reprehensible attitude). If\nthe one who stole was a prominent person among them, they let them go.\nHowever, if the one who stole was a weak person, they enforced the\npunishment upon them. By Allah, if Fatimah, the daughter of Muhammad,\nwere to steal, I would surely cut off her hand.\u201d<\/p>",
