Medan Merdeka Timur 14, Central Jakarta<br>\nwhere it will be installed.<\/p>\n<p>The sculpture, called Samara, was designed by French artist<br>\nJorge Carrasco.<\/p>\n<p>The French artist held a sculpture and painting exhibition at<br>\nthe World Trade Center here last month.<\/p>\n<p>Carrasco, who was born in La Paz, Bolivia, on May 4, 1919, is<br>\na naturalized French citizen.<\/p>\n<p>The painter, who has been exposed to various cultural<br>\nmovements and art exhibitions around the world, came to Indonesia<br>\nin December 1992, and has since been staying in Magelang, Central<br>\nJava, where he has been carving stone from Mount Merapi.
