It must<br>\nnever produce self-censorship. The attackers fear the light that<br>\njournalists carry. They fear the truth.\"<\/p>\n<p>Anderson, former Middle East correspondent of the Associated<br>\nPress, was kidnapped in Beirut in March 1985 by a militant<br>\nfaction in the then civil war in the Lebanon.
