        "content": "<p>The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will not distribute the Free\nNutritious Meal (MBG) programme during the school holiday period, using\nthe break to reorganise and standardise its management for more optimal\nfuture implementation.<\/p>\n<p>BGN Deputy Head and Spokesperson Agustina Arumsari stated that the\ndecision was taken to focus on standardising operational governance and\nresource efficiency. \u201cFor this occasion, the policy we have adopted is\nto completely halt MBG distribution with the intention of standardising\noperational governance and resource efficiency,\u201d Agustina said during a\npress conference at the BGN office in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Agustina noted that the BGN issued Circular Letter Number 12 of 2026\non 17 June 2026 concerning the adjustment of operations for Nutritional\nService Fulfilment Units (SPPG) during the holiday period for the 2026\nfiscal year MBG programme. \u201cThis circular was issued to optimise\noperational governance, resource efficiency, and standardisation of the\nMBG programme at SPPGs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>During the holiday period, all recipients will not receive MBG,\nincluding students and the \u20183B\u2019 group of pregnant women, breastfeeding\nmothers, and non-early childhood education toddlers. With no MBG\ndistribution during the school holidays, SPPGs will also not receive\nincentives.<\/p>\n<p>According to Agustina, this differs from previous distribution\npatterns, including during Ramadan, which used specific delivery\nmechanisms such as a bundling system. For this school holiday period,\nthe BGN decided against any MBG distribution. She added that the school\nholiday momentum is being used by the BGN to reorganise and improve the\nmanagement of the MBG programme so that its future execution becomes\nincreasingly optimal.<\/p>",
