Registration for the free homecoming program has been open from 24th\nFebruary 2026 to 6th March 2026 at the Asia Afrika JPO every\nMonday-Friday from 08:00-15:00. On Saturdays, it is open from\n08:30-15:00. This year\u2019s free homecoming routes are Bandung-Surabaya via\nthe North, Bandung-Yogyakarta via the North, Bandung-Yogyakarta via the\nSouth, and within the province, Bandung-Kuningan-Cirebon and\nBandung-Tasikmalaya-Banjar.<\/p>\n
\u201cYesterday, on the first day, there were already a lot of\nregistrants. Of the 250 tickets, there are only 23 left. Previously, the Head of the Bandung City Transportation Department,\nRasdian Setiadi, said that for the free homecoming program, they had\nprepared 5 buses with a quota of 250 people, so each bus would carry 50\npeople. The buses are scheduled to depart from City Hall on 17th\nMarch.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe requirement to participate in the free homecoming program is\nsimply an electronic ID card or a certificate of residence in Bandung\nCity. The limited quota of free homecoming tickets prepared by the Bandung\nCity Transportation Department has left those who registered\ndisappointed and returning home empty-handed. \u201cI wanted to go home to\nYogyakarta, but when I wanted to register, the tickets were already\ngone,\u201d said Surip with a disappointed expression.<\/p>\n
According to Surip, as of 11:00, there were only 23 quotas left for\nthe Bandung-Kuningan-Cirebon route, while the quotas for other\ndestinations, including Yogyakarta, were confirmed to be fully booked.\n\u201cLast year, I participated in the free homecoming program.
