        "content": "<p>The Free Health Screening (CKG) programme has served 78.05 million\npeople up to 9 August 2026. The service covers various age groups, from\nnewborns, toddlers and preschool children, to schoolchildren and\nadolescents, as well as adults and the elderly. Services are available\nat 10,292 community health centres (puskesmas) and 134,677 schools,\ncovering all 514 districts\/cities and 38 provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Screening results have revealed a number of health issues requiring\nattention. In children, dental caries was one of the most common\nfindings, while in adults, a lack of physical activity, central obesity,\nhypertension, and pre-diabetes were discovered. In newborns, findings\nincluded low birth weight and the risk of congenital heart disease,\nwhereas in the elderly, a lack of physical activity, central obesity,\nmobility impairments, and tooth loss were identified. This data\nhighlights the importance of early detection to prevent health problems\nfrom becoming more serious.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Indonesia\u2019s health expenditure is estimated to reach around\nRp660 trillion, an increase of approximately 5% compared to the previous\nyear. As of 29 July 2026, public participation in the CKG programme in\nPekanbaru reached 177,081 people, or 17.44 percent. The Ministry of\nHealth continues to strengthen its tuberculosis (TB) control strategy\nthrough early detection, active case finding, and expanding access to\ncommunity-based health services. Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin\nstated that the CKG is not only the largest screening programme ever\nconducted in Indonesia.<\/p>",
